About Us

The Powderham Neighborhood Association (PNA) was incorporated in 1986. The purpose of the nonprofit association is to encourage a healthful and harmonious neighborhood environment, as well as, to protect the interests of the residents regarding safety, property values, visual continuity and overall aesthetics. Government of PNA is vested in a Board of Directors consisting of 15 members who are elected to staggered 2-year terms.


Activities of the association include:

  • Administering the architectural review process for our neighborhood
  • Coordinating a Christmas luminary display
  • Sponsoring an annual picnic (September)
  • Being involved in Chesterfield County's Neighborhood Watch program
  • Sponsoring an annual neighborhood yard sale (late spring)
  • Halloween event
  • Entranceway beautification
  • New neighbor welcome baskets
  • Publishing a quarterly neighborhood newsletter
